No miss fires. I already own a different Bostitch nailer and it has never failed me. So far this gun is perfect.
Remains to be seen how it functions. I'd consider it 'used, fair condition', not 'reconditioned'. Haven't had a chance to actually use this tool, but it wasn't in what I considered 'reconditioned' condition. Paint was worn in several areas, and there was obvious wear on the tip of the nailer.
Good investment for me as I have a bunch of friends that help each other with their roofs so it will definitely get used. This was just what I expected, except it was reconditioned. Worked just like it was brand new and looked new too.
I would recommended to anyone including family and friends. After buying the reconditioned Bostitch Coil Nailer, I can't think of anything to say that's negative about the "used product". The shipping was quick, product is in great shape, and the price was right.
I could probably even sell it for what I paid for it. It got used hard for a week straight. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and even happier that I now have it if I do any other roofing. I was renting one of these from the local rental store and they were charging $24/day, or $96 if you wanted to use it for a week. They go twice as much for a brand new one.I am very satisfied with it. I found this deal here on Amazon and figured it was better to buy it outright instead of renting one, and then I will own it.The tool worked great, with very few double fires. Of course it started raining halfway thru the first day, so I took it back.We had a large pitchy roof with a reverse gable and the entire thing was 2000 square feet and would have teken forever to do with a hammer. It was hard to tell the difference between a new one and a refurbished one.
